Camille was very kind and understanding to my husband, as this was a traumatic and life-changing event for him.
My husband went to the OLOL ED with new-onset diabetes and a blood sugar of 727. Camille was on duty that night and was assigned as our nurse. She was so attentive and proficient in her skills and explained everything going on to my husband. It was obvious she loved nursing and put her whole heart into it. She rounded on us regularly, and even though she was not always in the room, she was always nearby.

Whenever she saw I opened the door she would pop up to come ask what we needed. It was like we were her only patient. All the while, trauma alerts were being announced overhead throughout the night. You could never tell how busy the ED actually was with the constant care my husband received. Camille was very kind and understanding to my husband, as this was a traumatic and life-changing event for him.

Additionally, I would like to recognize the entire staff that night, from registration to MDs, nurses, and techs; they were all great! We could not be more pleased with the care, the personal service, and the compassion everyone showed. Then, on Thursday, my husband became ill again, so we headed back to OLOL ED. Once again, we had an outstanding nurse, G, whom I’ve known for many years, but I still marvel at her professionalism and nursing skills. Who knew that we would land on the doorsteps of OLOL ED twice in a week’s time? But we did and were treated with optimal care both times. Thanks to the entire team! You are definitely providing a great service to the Community.
