Carol Jones, RN

Carol was transferred to 2 East as a charge nurse during the surge last year and worked to provide compassionate care to the patients and their families. Carol would go above and beyond to make sure the patients on 2 East received whatever they needed whenever it was needed. If a physician needed information about a patient, Carol would know everything there was to know about that patient. She spoke to numerous family members and was extremely kind and reassuring to the families. She worked long hours to make sure the patients and families received the communication they needed. Even though Carol now works in another area, she is always willing to assist with training new nurses to care for these incredibly sick COVID patients. She is a true Healthcare Hero.
