Our night shift Manager Carol was outstanding during a code in the early morning and then followed a few hours later with an emergency transfer of one of our other patients. Carol responded quickly with hands-on assistance and expertise for the first patient code and it was a seamless code. Her excellent and outstanding coordination with the nurses and residents on that shift was calm and efficient.

Carol also made sure, along with her team staff for the shift, to check that all equipment and crash carts used were replenished and replaced in the correct place ready for anyone who might need them. Carol has remarkable leadership and is a role model in clinical excellence and teamwork which is always appreciated. The other patient was transferred to 8ICU unit and Carol showed extraordinary compassionate care to make sure that the patient was quickly transferred to the other unit to get the urgent care she needed in that moment. Carol is always compassionate and kind to each of us all night.
