Casey is an excellent nurse who shows kindness and compassion to patients, family and staff alike.

One specific example of how Casey goes above and beyond happened just the other evening. It was the end of my 12 hour shift around 6:50 pm and I was just making my last rounds on my patients. Upon checking on my last patient's colostomy bag to make sure it didn't need to be emptied, the bag unrolled spilling its contents all over patient and bed. I put the call bell on to see if a nurse's aid was available to help me get the patient cleaned up and bed changed and Casey was the first one in the room to answer the bell.

Casey was coming on for the night and her shift hadn't even started yet, but instead of finding an aid to help, or sitting down to start getting ready for report she went and got linens and took the time to help me get the patient cleaned up and bed changed. This wasn't her patient, but she stayed in the room with me beyond 7:00 until the job was done and the patient was tucked back into bed nice and clean.

Casey continues to impress me with her positive attitude and willingness to help in any situation. She is a great nurse and I've heard only great feedback from any patients she's cared for.
