I was scheduled to receive an epidural injection. Cassandra was the nurse assigned to get me prepped for the procedure. I was so nervous, but she did such a great job at calming my nerves by stopping what she was doing and asking me specifically what I was nervous about. She listened carefully and then explained the procedures in detail. She reassured me that it is not uncommon to be nervous. I felt so comfortable with her. She ended up getting my mind off of the nervousness by asking about my family. I had the procedure, and everything went great. She even checked on me after and asked how it went, and how I did. I felt like my care and comfort was in Cassandra's best interest. Cassandra is a genuine individual.
