I nominate Cathy Wong for her excellent management to a critical antepartum patient. Her critical thinking, persistence and quick response to changes in her patient's status lead to a quick diagnosis and treatment of her patient. Cathy expertly utilized SBAR right down to the recommendation for care, which proved to be very helpful for the provider in charge of the patient that night. Cathy was the eyes and ears for her patient that night. I feel that Cathy's actions that night exemplified the outstanding care that she provides to all in her care. It makes me feel very honored to have her as a colleague.
