She helped me with cleaning, took the time to listen to me, and was empathetic towards me. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
She talked to me with great respect and care. She made sure my fears and needs were addressed with compassion and kindness. She was a wonderful nurse.

Coming onto the med surg floor I was scared due to my diagnosis of rhabdomyolysis, but nurse Cecilia made me feel safe. Due to my condition, I was at my weakest with my legs, yet every time I asked her for help to move my legs, she would help me and reassure me with any little concern I had. She was my nurse for two days and the second morning they put a catheter in me. When I got up to wash my hands, I noticed a stain on my bed, and I informed her. She helped me with cleaning, took the time to listen to me, and was empathetic towards me. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Thank you, nurse Cecilia, for everything you did for me. Thank you for the dedication and compassion you offered me and to all your patients.

She was the best nurse I have had during my stay. She was so inspirational and uplifting, every day I hoped to get her as my nurse. My family and I loved her attitude and spirit. You could tell how much she cared about me and my family. Honestly, she was the best nurse ever. She was compassionate and focused on her job. Anything I asked and needed she was on it and genuinely cared. Cecilia made me look forward to dealing with nurses. I was so glad I got her as my nurse, and I wished she could have been my nurse every day during my stay.

Cecilia is charismatic, funny, and in tune with the needs of her patients. She treats them on a personal level and gains their trust. Hispanic patients refer to her in a loving cultural manner as the tall "Chinita" that speaks Spanish when they don't remember her name. They feel accepted by her, and they accept her as a Hispanic Nurse when she speaks Spanish to them. She is a representation of the community we serve, and her patients love to interact with her because they feel she is a part of their culture. Cecilia understands the needs of our patients, shows empathy, and advocates for her patients. Thank you Cecilia for being who you are. We appreciate you!
