As a newer nurse, Celine was such a quick learner and was always looking for ways to grow and be the best nurse she could be. As our charge nurse and leader, she leads by example and exemplifies a great work ethic, care, and compassion. She never hesitates to take a higher acuity patient or the next admission when she knows that others are busy. Celine manages to remain so positive, even on the most challenging of days.

Celine is a quiet soldier, a steady rock that everyone knows they can lean on. She is the first to respond in critical situations. She's last to leave during a shift, making sure that everyone is doing ok and making sure the next shift is set up for success, even if it means staying back a few extra hours to help them get settled. Celine has an amazing sense of awareness when it comes to the unit and her peers. She knows which patients need more attention and frequent rounding. She knows which staff member is drowning and needs additional support, even before they ask for help. She is kind towards others, even when the kindness is not so readily reciprocated. She is an advocate for the unit. Celine not only identifies issues but also offers solutions. As a leader, it is evident that Celine’s goal is to serve her patients and those she works with. It has been such a pleasure and honor to work alongside such an impactful and remarkable nurse.
