Chanelle Hyde, BSN, RN

My daughter and I came from what was supposed to be a vacation in Mexico and ended up with emergency surgery. We had an inhumane and traumatic event. When we thought our world was dark and hopeless, we arrived at 5 North, and Chanelle made sure we felt safe and secure. She always gave us support and answered all our questions. She made sure we were feeling comfortable and well. She has an amazing personality and talked to us like we were her family. As a professional, she took the time to give details of medications and procedures. I believe she went above and beyond. There are not enough thanks for us to give her, and we will always be grateful for her attentiveness, understanding, compassion, and patience. We hope there are more like her in hospitals. She made us feel confident enough to trust the process. She is our Angel making this experience the best it could be.
