Chantelle does not know this, but at home, it is only me and my dog. So she has no clue what her kindness and REAL caring means to me. She was the main person I was able to keep my spirits up having to be admitted over Christmas.
Chantelle was just down to earth. I was comfortable with her from the beginning. She never did anything unless she completely explained what she was doing. I know these nurses are busy. She never acted as if she was in a hurry or too busy to take care of me. Her kindness and compassion were well above what she could have gotten by with. The best thing about Chantelle was when I had asked her a question she could not answer, she found out the answer. Then proceeded to explain it to me in detail. This happened several times. Not that this matters and Chantelle does not know this, but at home, it is only me and my dog. So she has no clue what her kindness and REAL caring means to me. She was the main person I was able to keep my spirits up having to be admitted over Christmas. I had Chantelle 3 times during my stay, I was truly blessed for that. I can only hope that management knows how important her professionalism is to those patients like myself who truly have no one to show support. Chantelle, I wish you well and from the bottom of my heart thank you for your care and compassion.

As her manager, I have been impressed and thankful for her engagement and adaptability when it comes to caring for our diverse patient population including a surge in COVID. She is approachable, quality-focused, and will not hesitate to offer ideas for improved patient care. I look forward to working with Chantelle as she continues her career on the Med-Tele unit!
