Charlotte continually went the extra mile taking care of our son and our entire family. She was never rude or appeared put out by us even when she was obviously busy. Charlotte just stood out and shined bright, like a star, during a very difficult time for our family.

During my recent leadership rounds Mr. B wanted me to know of the outstanding care he had been receiving from Charlotte. He stated he has been in and out of the hospital several times and has even worked for CoxHealth, but he has never seen someone like Charlotte. Mr. B went on to say how kind and compassionate she is, and how impressed he was with her nursing skills. He told me, "When you come to the hospital, Charlotte is exactly the kind of nurse you want to take care of you!" He wanted to be sure she was recognized for her excellent nursing care so I told him about the DAISY Award and he agreed that I would turn in this nomination on his behalf.

Afterwards I told Charlotte of the compliments she received; she was so touched that she became tearful. That is just the kind of person Charlotte is. This is not the first raving compliment I've received about Charlotte's care and I have no doubt it will not be the last. Thank you!
