She never left me questioning what was going on with my treatment. Above and beyond what I come to expect from a nurse in a hospital.
I'd like to start by saying, I typically fear hospitals and medical facilities. So much so, unless it is absolutely necessary for life-threatening reasons, I avoid them! This stems from childhood trauma. They make me feel uneasy, and untrusting and give me anxiety. With Chay as my nurse, this couldn't be any further from the truth. She single-handled changed my outlook one-hundred and eighty degrees. I've never had a doctor, nurse, or otherwise make me feel like I mattered so much. She made me feel like I was her only patient. Kept up with anything I could need all while caring for other patients. She never left me questioning what was going on with my treatment. Above and beyond what I come to expect from a nurse in a hospital. I am a 34-year-old I have several chronic illnesses and have had many, many nurses over the years. None in my life have come close to the true healing, this nurse provided me with. Not just medicine that can be prescribed or administered as anyone with a nurse's license can do. But honest to God, true healing, and peace of mind. I feel I could write a novel on how well this nurse excelled and it still wouldn't do Chay the notice. I can't think of another nurse that deserves to be recognized as much as this woman does. I don't think a million thank you's would or could be enough. This hospital facility is blessed to have such an outstanding nurse on their staff. I myself feel overly blessed to have called her my nurse. Chay definitely had an impact on my well-being. If any fit the phrase, "not all heroes wear capes" This definitely fits here!
