March 2022 Honoree
Cheyenne L Hensley, RN
Cheyenne was caring for a patient in the ED who had fallen at home. He was found to have a cervical fracture and needed to be transferred for a neurosurgery consult. The patient was refusing because he had no one to care for his dog. Cheyenne volunteered to go to his house and get his German Shepard. She kept the dog at her house for several days until he was released from the hospital. Cheyenne shows such compassion and goes above and beyond for her patients every day.
Thank you, Cheyenne L, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
