Chloe truly cares about her patients. We had many good nurses while at Mayo, but Chloe was exceptional. She had the night shift. My husband needed several IVs during the night, but he also greatly needed his sleep. Chloe did her best to disrupt our sleep as little as possible. She set alarms on her phone to remind her to come back and check on the IVs before they started beeping. She wore a small flashlight on her shirt, so she didn’t have to turn on bright lights when changing the IVs. She took the midnight vitals in place of the aid so there wouldn’t be another interruption. She got his nausea medicine to him a few minutes before it was due because it was almost shift change and she knew there could be a delay that would cause him to be nauseous. These may seem like minor things at first read, but I assure you they made a major difference for this patient and his wife. We saw a difference in the care Chloe gave. She gave care from her heart using her excellent skills and we are very thankful.
