I was induced with my first baby, and I was extremely nervous and overwhelmed. Christi was so caring and reliable. She listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions with such patience. When it came time for my epidural, she made sure the doctor administering it was the best and even held my hand while I got it. I was freaking out the whole time because I had a lot of fear of my back being worked on, but Christi was there to comfort me and even made jokes to relieve my worries. She was constantly coming in and making sure I was okay, and she kept turning me and adjusting my IV throughout the whole night with a smile on her face.

When it came time for the delivery, Christi came into work almost 2 hours early so she could just be there to support me. She held my hand and assisted me with my delivery. While I was puking and crying, she held my hair back and just kept offering so many words of encouragement and praise. I was so touched that she would come in early to assist me through my delivery. She truly made my first birthing experience so easy and enjoyable. I made sure to give her a hug when we left the delivery unit, and I was low-key sad that she wouldn't be my nurse in the postpartum unit. Christi went above and beyond, and I am very thankful that she was my nurse.
