Christiana Lehaf, BSN, RN, CCRN

Christiana Lehaf was the kindest, smartest, most patient, and most wonderful nurse that we have ever encountered at NYU. My father has been to NYU numerous times and has had many surgeries, and no nurse has stood out to us like Christiana did. My father is a very stubborn and difficult man, but she was able to find a common language with him. She explained all the instructions numerous times for him to understand and never got frustrated once. He refused to take his pain medications prior to PT, but Christiana was able to explain it in such a great way that my father took the medications. She constantly made sure he was comfortable and happy. She also allowed me (the son) to stay by his side because he would get very anxious without me. Furthermore, he is a very particular man, and Christiana found a way to work with him. If it wasn't for such a great nurse like Christiana I believe my father would not have had such a great PACU experience. Thank you so much for everything!
