This past week I was an A-Fib patient, during the night under the care of RN Christina. I would like to commend Christina's skill, professionalism, and wonderful smile, all of which helped my stay there be successful! Christina was my night shift 'in command' nurse. Night shift says a lot to me. My first job was as a foreman from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Therefore, I personally relate and admire Christina doing her critical job, always with a valuable positive attitude and outstanding patient care professionalism. One of Christina's outstanding qualities, not expected at all, was her listening skills. I mean - at 3:00 AM, during her 'drop in - patient still breathing so - take blood pressure - rounds,' and since I couldn't sleep, I would ask questions and make comments. Always, her answers removed any patient anxiety. This complete, professional attention to her patient's care was something completely outside patient expectations, one that makes all the difference in how comfortable her patients are and was deeply appreciated.

I view Christina as a key member of this team, and it was wonderful to see and benefit from it. You can take significant professional pride in RN Christina Jurlin. She is exactly what I see as what Torrance Memorial values. You are indeed fortunate!
