Reflecting on the challenges faced in the emergency room, Locke emphasized the importance of teamwork. "Teamwork is truly paramount: relying on one another and providing support. It takes a collective effort to accomplish what we do," shared Locke.

The patient who nominated Locke for the award provided a testimony highlighting her "exemplary service" during their visit. "Despite the busy environment and fast-paced nature of the emergency room, Locke never made me feel rushed. Whenever another staff member called for assistance or had questions, she was always there with a smile on her face and compassion in her voice."

The patient further expressed how Locke made them feel genuinely cared for and heard, emphasizing her consistent delivery of high-quality care. "It brings me joy to make a positive impact on people's lives and to know that I have made a difference," Locke concluded.
