She was kind, empathetic and her calm demeanor was just what he needed at this time. She was a constant presence, even anticipating his needs before being asked. She asked often if there was anything we needed. When he was cold, before I could ask, she brought another warm blanket.
She wheeled him out to the car, gave him a cheery goodbye, and wished him well.
There are those who do their jobs adequately and then there are those like Christine who are just exactly what we needed at a vulnerable and stressful time. She is memorable!
