Christine goes above and beyond whenever she works. She always assists with care of the patients, especially at very hectic times. She is the "go to" person for questions and is a resource for not only nurses but also for new residents finding their way. She is a calm voice of reason during chaotic times and is able to de-escalate situations that occur with patients and families. She goes out of her way to make sure the patient and the family have all they need and are comfortable and well informed. She is the heart of the night shift and is the type of nurse and person we all strive to be. She exemplifies everything that the DAISY Award represents and deserves the recognition for her dedication, professionalism, and compassion she exhibits everyday.
