Christine took care of my dad when he came to the ED with shortness of breathing, high heart rate, and signs of heart failure. Christine took swift action, knew what tests needed to be ordered, knew lab values like the back of her hand, and was efficient but extremely caring of my dad's needs.
While my dad was at various diagnostic tests, Christine stayed with me and made me feel a sense of comfort that a family member would emulate. She made me feel so proud to be a St. Joe's nurse, and she also made me feel like I made the right decision to bring him to St. Joe's. My dad is a healthy guy with no underlying conditions, so this was extremely scary and unexpected. Christine should be recognized for her outstanding clinical skills, while also executing [living] the values that a St. Joe's nurse should hold.
