I had Thrombectomy surgery that consisted of a FEM_FEM Crossover Bypass Graft and Right Femoral Artery, Left Femoral SFA/Deep Femoral Arter Bypass with PTFE. There were a few complications, and I spent the next four days in ICU to stabilize my blood pressure. I can vividly recall two occasions when my B/P bottomed out, and my nurse was right at my side screaming at me to not close my eyes while doing multiple things to revive me. I believe her prompt professionalism saved my life. If that was not enough, my nurse devoted a considerable amount of time at my bedside for three of those days to make sure all of my many tests were being done properly, that I was maintaining stability, and any need I had was taken care of. I felt almost as if I had my own private nurse for all of the care she showed me.
