Christy is very capable, caring, polite, and a kind part of this great hospital. I've had infusions on a weekly basis for lung cancer. Christy noticed my slurred speech, imbalance, and tiredness. She called my doctor, postponed my infusion and personally wheeled me down to the Emergency Department for tests. I came back the following week in worse condition and Nurse Christy intuitively called my doctor again and strongly insisted that I go back to the Emergency Department to have brain scans which were not done the previous week. Sure enough, a large mass was found. Emergency surgery was ordered the following day. If not for Nurse Christy's tireless persistence and caring for her patient, I would be dead! I get to watch my four grandchildren grow up because of Nurse Christy. Christy is truly a gifted asset to this hospital and reflects how wonderful Obici truly is. Nurse Christy will forever be my hero.
