Christy Wiley was Charge Nurse and received a new patient as an admission. A new bit of work had just arisen with one of my patients. It was very doable. Despite being very busy and knowing everything was ok, Christy came to help me with my extra work without being asked. She did this in love, charity and teamwork. I was deeply moved by her going above and beyond the call of duty. What was even more amazing is this incident was second nature to her and it strongly reflects what she does and how she is with every shift that she works. Everyday that I work with her I see compassion, goodwill and care for her patients and everyone she works with. Her positive attitude cannot go unnoticed. I truly believe she is an exemplary Nurse and I am humbled and honored to work with her.
