Cinthia Arroyo Soto, RN

I am nominating Cynthia because she is the true meaning of a nurse. My son is an 18-year-old boy who has never been sick and got admitted very sick. Cynthia did not come into the room just to push meds. She actually spent time with us and got to know us. She would explain everything she was giving my son. He ended up having to have two blood transfusions. During that time she sat in his room with us and engaged in conversations that he enjoyed talking about to help relax him. Cynthia was back on shift Saturday and even though she was not our nurse she checked on us. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Cynthia provided the meaning of care, compassion, and commitment to my son. She made his stay easy. We will forever be grateful for Cinthia.
