My uncle has been at TG for about two weeks. He came in for a leg amputation, then suffered a heart attack, and has since had a lot of difficulties, including some hospital psychosis and hallucinations, and becoming combative to the point of needing restraints. It has been an extremely rough road. Colleen has been an absolute God send. It takes a special kind of person to be able to coax him into eating and drinking when he’s supposed to, getting up and out of bed when he doesn’t want to so he can get strong and make it home, staying awake during the day so he will get good rest at night. We love him so dearly, but he is as stubborn as they come. He has improved so drastically since he has been in her care. She is an absolute angel, and I truly believe she may have single-handedly saved his life.
