There are not enough words to describe Collen. She is an awesome nurse. I think of her as someone that is very caring, gentle and someone that takes her job seriously. Collen is the 1 North UPC chair, attends PNC, quality council and is an active voice on the unit. Collen is especially appreciated by her peers for mentoring and teaching all about Oncology/ Nephrology patients. Multiple new hire RN's have noted Collen's willingness to help get them familiar with the 1 North patient population. Collen doesn't hesitate to go to ICU or other departments to help with peritoneal dialysis or port accessing.
