concordia connie meglioranza, RN, BSN

Connie has been a dedicated employee, since 1985, when she started her bedside staff position on a medical/surgical unit known today as 6 west. She has her BSN, as well as a certification in medical surgical nursing. Among her duties as a staff nurse, Connie enjoys sharing her knowledge with new nurses.

She was nominated for the DAISY award by a patient whom she cared for. He remembers her as being a sweet nurse to everyone, with a wonderful bedside manner. Connie is also remembered by her patient as a nurse that makes herself available, offers assistance before being asked, anticipates patient needs, and goes beyond assignment.
