Connie Jackson is SO amazing! She's always very thorough when it comes to safe patient care. She makes sure that her patient and families feel comfortable and secure, establishing an amazing rapport with them. I know that whenever I work with Connie, I will have an awesome resource and assistance if needed. I cannot even put into words what an amazing nurse Connie Jackson is. She is the best.
*****
Connie is a leader and glows in all The DAISY Award characteristics.
*****
Connie is a great resource and amazing nurse. She precepts on a regular basis, works wherever she is needed and has a great attitude, even on the toughest days. She is a wealth of knowledge and our unit is so fortunate to have her!
*****
Connie is one of our well-experienced nurses in this hospital who is full of compassion for her patients and their families. Her patience and dedication as a nurse make her a real fit working with children. She is loaded with knowledge and experience as she mentored and precepted students and new staff over the years. She is detail-oriented when it comes to nursing care delivery. Love working with her.
*****
Connie is one of our phenomenal RN team members in the PACU. I met Connie seven years ago when I began my employment at Seattle Children's. She immediately impressed me with her kind demeanor and the general calmness she exuded. As I came to know Connie in my first months at SCH, I was very impressed with the wealth of knowledge she possessed and her excitement and willingness to share it. Well, nothing has changed! Eight years later, she still impresses me. She always goes above and beyond, whether it's to teach fellow RNs at Competency Days, teaching a new PACU RN at the bedside or providing expert care or comfort to a child and his or her family. If Connie doesn't know the answer to a question (which is rare!), she will go out of her way to find it. In summary, Connie Jackson is the epitome of what we stand for: kindness, compassion, skill, knowledge and a willingness to give her all to the Seattle Children's community.
