I feel so lucky to have been sent to see Connie for help after my recent colostomy. Connie made me feel at ease right away. From the way all of my doctors and nurses spoke of her I shouldn't have been surprised!! She was so kind and compassionate and a wealth of knowledge. Connie took the time to make sure my husband and I understood everything about the colostomy and how to care for myself. She even had visuals for examples!! She explained everything clearly, walked through all the steps and wrote everything down. She even looked at a previous urostomy site and gave me some tips on new products that also worked out very well!! My husband and I left that first meeting feeling so much better and confident we could handle this. Besides being an incredible nurse, Connie is also a fantastic teacher. Being a teacher myself, I can really appreciate this!

Connie also made herself available through email, phone and additional appointments. She has offered to meet me at the doctor's office whenever I need her. I can only imagine how busy her schedule is, but I have never felt rushed during an appointment. Connie is always smiling and gives off such a positive energy! I am very thankful for the care I have gotten at Princeton Hospital and especially from Connie Johnson.
