Courtney Meyer, RN

My dad was admitted due to profuse bleeding from his colon. He was visiting me from Puerto Rico and had never been hospitalized in Indiana. His English is very limited despite his previous knowledge many years ago. Courtney demonstrated full engagement during his stay and even communicated with him by increasing her Spanish daily. It was so calming to know that she was there to take care of his needs while doing her best to ensure communication with him while we could not. She maintained him and kept me informed of everything, and she was helpful in addressing all our questions and concerns. My dad was there for three days, and we also felt very welcomed. I found her very knowledgeable about what happened and what was next. She was always available and never hesitated to help. She represented a medical professional, demonstrated passion for what she does, empathy, and knowledge of her profession. What a great combination. God Bless her.
