Crystal is a valued member of our medical surgical unit that care mostly for post-operative patients. A recent patient's wife turned in the following nomination, that sums up Crystal's impact on many of the patients she cares for.

"My husband was here for a week, very ill with Cancer. Crystal was a lifesaver. She is always smiling, he was treated like he was part of her family. The only time I could go home at night and rest was when she was here to take care of him. She is an amazing person, an amazing nurse and IU is very lucky to have her on staff. When she walks in I tear up because I can relax and know she is taking care of him. We would have never made it without her and she is now someone I consider a very dear friend."
