Through my experiences I have come to hate medical professional due to the extreme poor treatment and being lied to. I have been lied to, told that my problems are all in my head, called a drug seeker, been told I don't have Crohn's Disease only that I was paying for my sins, and dealt with people that make me feel like I should not get medical help but rather suffer through Crohn's and let it kill me.

Curtis has been not only an amazing nurse but rather a friend, a concerned human being, an inspiration and an encouragement that things will get better and that medical professionals can and will help. Through it all he has listened to my concerns and addressed them. He has given his concerns and we've talked about them. He has learned who I am to help me the best he can. He has noticed issues and started resolving them before they got out of hand. He identifies when I'm not feeling well and does what he can to help be it get me food or drink, or medication, let me go for a walk, get pain meds, make a joke or just talk to me. He is always prompt on everything to be as close as he can depending on other patients that he is taking the same time with as me. When he is busy and another patient needs help he will always find a way to get them the help they need.

All in all he turned a negative into a positive and made an impression and difference in my life.
