The CVICU nurses are a core group of associates that volunteered to embark on a journey of new information and unchartered waters here at ASTR. They have undergone extensive training over the last several months to prepare for the addition of open heart surgeries to our campus. These nurses have been nothing short of amazing as they have trained and grown to better serve our community. The few patients we have had have truly been blessed and expressed their deepest gratitude to the staff for the great care they received while recovering in the ICU post surgery. Both day and night shift members of the team truly exemplify leaders and growth for this hospital and our community as we have started this new and exciting journey. We are truly blessed to offer this extended service line to the public and they will receive nothing but the best of the best from our outstanding CVICU nurses.
