Cynthia McIntosh was awarded the DAISY Award for the kind and friendly care she provides to her patients, as well as her ability to make her patients feel welcome and attended to, no matter how busy she is. One of her patients explained that "There needs to be more nurses like Cynthia." Another patient said that McIntosh was "very attentive to my needs. She took time for me when I needed extra care."
