Dani provided outstanding, compassionate end of life care for a family over the past couple of days. The patient felt comfortable with Dani. His son said he knew he could leave his dad in Dani's care and that he would be safe. The son also said, "My dad didn't like many people, but he really liked Dani and appreciated her care." After the patient passed, the family went to the store and returned with a beautiful flower arrangement and card for Dani. The son also called me, Nursing Supervisor, the following day to express his gratitude for all of our care and especially for Dani. She really made a difference for this family and connected with them emotionally at a difficult time.
