My baby girl was born two months prematurely and has been in the NICU since birth. Overlake NICU is really lucky to have Daniele as a nurse as she consistently demonstrates excellence through clinical expertise, extraordinary service, and compassionate care. From the beginning, Daniele has always greeted us with a big smile, continuously advocates for our baby's needs, and genuinely wants to help us in any way possible. As new parents, every little thing made us nervous, such as hearing our baby's little grunts. But Daniele was very understanding and patient with us. She would explain to us in detail what was going on and taught us how we can help her. Very quickly, we felt that Daniele wasn't just our baby's nurse; she's our trusted friend too. I especially appreciate all those one-on-one conversations that immensely calmed my nerves and gave me more hope and confidence in our baby's heart surgery and recovery. When our little girl was at another hospital for her surgery, my husband and I wished we had Daniele as our nurse there. Our sleepless nights during our stay at that hospital ended when our baby was eventually admitted back to Overlake.
