When confronted with major medical challenges due to my husband's myasthenia gravis, Danielle didn't hesitate to call a Rapid Response Team to administer the necessary care he needed to get through the myasthenia flareup. That very evening Danielle stayed hours beyond her shift to be sure my husband was going to be all right after that very scary episode. Following up on that, Danielle listened to our suggestions for medications based on his past medical history, thoroughly researched what medications had been provided under similar circumstances in 2019 at St. Joseph's, and communicated those findings to mu husband's hospitalist for consideration. She was the very best advocate a patient could have as she helped convince the hospitalist to administer immune globulin to my husband which helped his condition improve overnight! All the while Danielle was in constant communication with us, following up with medical staff to ensure all the tests and procedures were done in a timely and efficient manner, and that we knew what was happening and why in his care. She was always calm, courteous, and professional in all her dealings not only with us but with attending doctors and fellow staff members.
