Danielle Lanthier 2, RN

As a system flex/float nurse, I have the privilege of working at all 6 Ascension locations in Michigan. Every time I come to Macomb and see a certain name, “Danielle,” assigned as a swat nurse, I know all the emergent cases in the hospital are in good hands. A heart of gold that is dedicated to each and every one of our Ascension patients. She honestly handles every situation she encounters in such a respectful manner. There were many occasions Danielle and I crossed paths during my 12-hour shifts, and each and every one of them has been memorable. The smile she can put on patients even during a rapid is what makes her special; she communicates with all of her patients and instantaneously can soothe and ease them into better spirits and makes sure that they understand everything that is going on. Danielle is a great example of an excellent nurse. She deserves to be recognized for all of her hard work and dedication to Ascension Hospital. She truly is one of a kind. When she is working as a swat nurse, I know that the hospital is in good hands. Thank you, Danielle, for being so amazing.
