My husband at age 59 and I have been here as of right now 41 days and still more hospital time to go. We have had many nurses and some really great nurses, but Danielle stands out as one of the most caring, passionate, and fun with a positive attitude that I've been around.
My husband had a heart transplant and had a few extra complications with his aorta. He endured some things he needed help with that make you very uncomfortable and Danielle had a way of making you feel more relaxed with your situation. She was always willing to explain what was going on and what all the testing was for and patient if she needed to explain a second time. My husband just wanted to go outside for a while, and she made sure to ask and take him out. She understood the simple things were important as much as the bigger ones.
Danielle doesn't just take this as a job. She really cares about how comfortable the patient is as well as the family. I have been in a lot of hospitals with parents and family and have not come across a more devoted nurse. She is a blessing to your hospital, patients, and staff.
