I was diagnosed with multiple things and spent many days in the hospital. When released, this nurse was assigned as my home care nurse. She visited with me on a regular weekly basis and she was a Godsend. She always arrived on time and in good spirits. She quickly and efficiently attended to my needs in a very caring way. She was kind and gentle and calming. She always explained why and what she was doing for my rehab. But she was also stern and “kicked my butt” when it was needed to get me out of a mental funk. My conditions didn’t make me a very pleasant person. But this nurse always brightened my days. She attended to my physical rehab in a very compassionate way, but her thoughtful conversation really helped my mental state even more. This nurse helped get me through the most difficult time in my life and I now consider her to be a true friend.
