Darlene Puntner is an exceptional nurse who always goes above and beyond for her patients, families, and fellow team members. She is kind, compassionate, and incredibly patient. Darlene embodies all the qualities that a nurse should have. Darlene Puntner has a bright, positive, and amazing attitude. She has received many nominations for The DAISY Award at Plainview Hospital; the most recent letter was from a wonderful, lovely patient: "My nurse Darlene is my hero. She goes above and beyond to care for her patients. She is constantly trying to make her patients feel as normal as possible and her heart is gold!! I am now moving to rehab and will miss her goodness. Please consider her for above and beyond duty and patient happiness. Thank you so much. God Bless."
