I would like to nominate my Nurse Leader Dawn Jonson from MDS. Dawn has been a pivotal part of my success here at RBMC. I was hired after a long career at RWJUH, after taking a year off of work for personal reasons. Dawn was able to see my worth of experience and recognize that I would be a good fit for her unit. Since I began as RBMC Dawn has been very supportive inside and outside of work as a Leader. Dawn makes you want to do your best and go out of her way to help out the unit, whether it is helping with staffing or with unit projects. She is always available to hear any issues that may arise. Our Unit has a lot of different personalities with a lot of nursing experience. Dawn is able to see everyone's individual strengths and draw on them to optimize the unit's flow. Dawn makes herself available day and night and is always understanding and supportive of any issues. Dawn is a great leader and is very deserving of this wonderful recognition.
