Deb Wronkiewicz consistently demonstrates her expertise in Nursing while always administering compassionate care. She has been a preceptor for many years and has worked with the Nurse Externs from the beginning of the program. She is a wonderful role model and the impact she has made with these externs is clearly evident. The extern’s approach to nursing is positively impacted by working with her. If I am ever a patient, I want her taking care of me.

There are hundreds of stories about Deb Wronkiewicz’s compassion but, the most recent is about a 40 y/o handicapped patient who only speaks two words. She comforted the patient’s very nervous family and was so tender with the patient that you would think the patient was a family member of her own.

She routinely goes the extra mile everyday, never saying no to any request. She helps each year with the Fashion Show, letters to Santa, and the book drive, to name a few. She is the example of a great nurse whose main focus at work is making patients better.
