Debbie Jamieson went above and beyond to meet a terminal patient's wish to return home and spend her final moments there with her loved ones.

This required the coordination of multiple resources, including establishing Home Hospice acceptance, home oxygen delivery/confirmation and new prescription medication ordering and pick-up by family, just to name a few.

It was only through her vast experience, recommendations to the nursing staff caring for the patient and her coordination with Great Lakes Home Care and Hospice that the patient was able to safely and comfortably return home with all these resources on hand when she arrived.

The patient and family had expressed their wishes to go home at approximately 1800 hours and she was on her way via Jackson Community Ambulance by 2245. This is an achievement quite remarkable for anyone familiar with this process!
