This nurse is always going over and beyond for not only her patients but other patients within the department. She makes sure to always provide privacy, speak in a tone that is calming with terms her patients understand, actively listens to understand, empathizes, remains humble, and continues to consistently be a leader and role model to all by example. She is such a hard worker! I know when I am working alongside her specifically, it is going to be a great day regardless of what's thrown our way. Our department is so blessed to have nurses like Della! Watching Della precept new hires makes me so proud. She exhibits what a new-age bedside nurse and departmental leader should look like. Although Della will refuse to accept kudos for the nurse she is, she deserves to be praised! Love you girl! Nurses like you make the difference!
