I am the husband of a patient who was treated in the Infusion Center for several weeks this month while an antibiotic was being administered via a PIC line. S had been treated several times over the past seven years for wound care and infusions. I am pleased to tell you that she always received EXCELLENT treatment from everyone, in every encounter we had with the Infusion Center, either during visits or telephone contact. It is the very best medical facility I’ve encountered. EVERYONE has conducted themselves professionally and made us feel cared for. Delnor management can be proud of the department.

Nurse Desiree exemplifies excellence in every aspect of her work and cared for my wife at a higher level. In addition to the regular care and maintenance of S’s PIC line, Desiree routinely observed the status of other skin and medical issues affecting S. Where she found problems, she either addressed them or offered suggestions for remedies. She was very diligent in reviewing S’s “My Chart” to be certain all her maladies were being coordinated, including contacting physicians’ offices to check on any questions that arose. Additionally, she has even followed up with a phone call to be certain that we were following recommendations and to inquire about S’s well-being. We have both been very pleased by her concerns, care, advice, and her overall service beyond the call of duty. I am honored to nominate Desiree for the DAISY Award.
