This was the first time we have faced a medical emergency to this scale in our family. As you can imagine this brings with it a lot of fear, anxiety, and sadness about the unknown fate of a dearly loved one. From the moment we met Desiree she was kind, calming, and attentive. She was always following up and addressing all issues and requests in a timely matter. Even when we would panic and jump at every beep and light, (which I have since learned is not a need to be alarmed) Desiree always responded to us patiently and kindly. She always shared as much information as she could, and we all felt very confident and reassured by her knowledge and answers. We had the pleasure of being assigned Desiree during the first two very critical days of our mom in the CCU, and I can’t imagine having to be with anyone else. She treated our mom gently and sweetly. Our whole family thanks her from the bottom of our hearts. She is an absolute treasure!
