Receiving a cancer diagnosis while you are in the hospital is truly frightening. Destini, with her upbeat spirit, gentle demeanor and truly compassionate bedside manner, made this difficult time bearable. She always knew the right question to ask, the perfect thing to say, and often anticipated my needs before I even knew I needed anything. We had a lot of caregivers during my stay here, each with their own unique traits, but none made me feel as comforted as Destini. Looking back on this very dark week, she is certainly a bright spot and Banner Good Samaritan is lucky to have such a talented nurse. She is truly an angel.
