Devon goes beyond what is expected or required in her care. She tries to make the difficult experience of having a newborn in intensive care as positive as possible for each family. A recent example of this was when Devon became aware of a family's love for the Eagles. She, with the parent's permission, reached out to Merrill Reese, the renowned voice of the Eagles, to record the baby's birth announcement with a slide show of the baby. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated by the parents as they used it to announce to their friends and family the birth of their premature baby.
